With travel restrictions preventing us from travelling abroad, there’s no better time to get out and see our wonderful country. Whether you’re planning a day trip or a longer stay, there’s plenty to explore in the Southern Tablelands.
We recently collaborated with the wonderfully talented Sydney-based photographer and storyteller Jay Lioz, who helped to capture the essence of what we do here at Lindner Socks, and why we do it.
Recent events have meant we’ve seen a significant increase in our customers shopping online. With that shift, we've created a new website to make it easier for you to shop from home.
You’ve doubtless already received many e-mails talking about Covid-19 and the response of governments, services and businesses. With the impacts of shutdowns on businesses, employees, families, and the economy, we’re all facing a difficult time over the coming months. As each new day unfolds, we are trying to do our best to keep one step ahead.
End of the year already…..
Time has once again run away, and we find ourselves at the end of another year, reflecting on all that has happened. A whole new look with a fresh brand image, a few new products for our online offering, upgrades and changes to our website, and the usual business of knitting up woolly socks.
It's been a huge few months at Lindner Socks as we've worked on updating our branding and reorganising our sock naming. Along with those changes we've started on the rebuild of our website, starting with the store, and all these changes are designed to make it easier for you to choose which socks or other products are the right ones for you.
This past week we have had a lot of fun with our first ever professional photo shoot. We booked local photographer Rachael from It’s A Beautiful Life Photography to capture some of our products in stunning local landscapes. We loved working with Rachael and we know that we’re going to love the results.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the first stage of our new website.
When you first visit the site, you may not notice much change, but when you decide to buy some socks, you’ll find we’ve reorganised our products and how you shop. The goal was to make it easier for you to find the products you need, and easier to select size and colour and add your products to the cart.
The months keep flying by in the busyness of work and family and life, and it feels like such a long time ago that we were enjoying spending time with family on the other side of the world. We have been reflecting on our trip to Germany since receiving an exciting parcel in the mail last week. Our dear friends/family members/hosts in Thalheim sent us copies of two publications from their local area which featured stories about our visit and the connections to the stocking industry.
When you live and breath a small business as we do at Lindner Socks, it’s natural to to have an intense enthusiasm for the histories of other businesses as well as your own. We've started on our own journey of discovery in to our family history and sock making heritage.
