A combination of merino wool and alpaca wool provides superior insulation even when wet, unlike cotton socks, and ensures your feet will always be warm and snug.
Made from local merino, alpaca fibre, and silk for added strength, our 'Taralga' ribbed socks are ideal for wearing with a wide variety of well-fitted footwear such as casual shoes and boots, sneakers and riding boots. Or as bed socks to stay snug on the coldest winter nights.
If you suffer from poor circulation or have diabetes, then these loose top socks are the ideal choice for you. They have no elastic at all, will shape to your feet after the first wash, and the well shaped heel keeps them in place.
While the high merino wool/alpaca fibre content in our 'Taralga' socks makes them beautifully soft and comfortable, if you're after a more hard-wearing ribbed knit sock, you may wish to try our 'Otto' or 'Otto' Loose Top socks.
